which a friend had recommended, but I'd put off picking up because I wasn't sure I wanted to know what was going on behind the scenes with my groceries.
I love the rent a chicken idea. It seems the best solution that highly aligns with the natural order. I saw a fantastic documentary called The Biggest Little Farm. It’s all about starting a family farm and how nature will balance herself out if we let her. It’s fascinating and highly recommend.
I am very interested in farms lately. Mostly because my son is living on one at the moment and because I've been growing more and more of my own food. But not enough. Did you ever read Barbara Kingsolver's Animal Vegetable Miracle? She admitted growing your own food would not work for everybody, or even most people. In the meantime, we're stuck with supermarkets. I will check out The Biggest Little Farm. Thanks!
Thanks for the Kingsolver rec :) I no will check it out
